Meet the crew behind A Home Away from Home!

My name is Haylee Vaughn. I have been a Registered Nurse for the last 10 years, a wife for 6, Mother for 3, and a children’s pastor, with my husband, for the last year!

Erika Farquhar has been an English teacher for the last 7 years and is now a full time stay at home mom.

We offer drop in visits in your own home, or we board at our home here in Midland.

Most drop in visits are handled by Erika while my husband (Brandon) and I primarily handle all boarding requests!

We live on almost 2 acres of fully fenced in property and is home to a few rescue animals we’ve saved along the way.

We strive to offer quality care, frequent updates throughout your babies stay with us, and something that can be hard to find: peace of mind.

We aren’t fancy, we don’t put on pretenses, and most the time you’ll find us wearing boots and covered in dirt. But we promise to take care of your pets as if they are our own. That’s why we call ourselves: A Home Away From Home.
